Denis O’Brien is an Emmy-winning film producer and founder of Verde Group Films and O’Brien Worldwide. With over 25 years in the entertainment industry, he has produced award-winning films, TV shows, and commercials, working with top brands like AT&T, McDonald’s, and ABC.
A Berklee College of Music alum, O’Brien launched his career producing for MSG Networks and Procter & Gamble, creating iconic campaigns for the NY Mets, Scope, and NyQuil. He later founded O’Brien Worldwide, producing content for major networks and brands, before establishing Verde Group Films in 2010, focusing on socially conscious documentaries and feature films.
O’Brien’s work has earned two Emmy Awards for his NY Mets campaigns, along with multiple Telly, Addy, and Davey Awards. He has collaborated with stars like Meryl Streep, Nathan Lane, Wayne Gretzky, Sofia Vergara, and Priscilla Presley, demonstrating his expertise in high-profile productions.
Beyond film, he is a dedicated mentor and philanthropist, serving on the board of the Machia Wilderness Camp and supporting causes like clean water initiatives and disaster relief. His career blends creative excellence with a commitment to impactful storytelling and social change.
